TMZ is reporting that Marvel comic mastermind Stan Lee has died at the age of 95.

Though the cause of his death is still not known, TMZ says “an ambulance rushed to Lee’s Hollywood Hills home early Monday morning and he was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. We’re told that’s where he died.” They confirmed his death with his daughter, J.C. “My father loved all of his fans. He was the greatest, most decent man,” she said in a statement.
After decades of work in the comics industry (he founded Marvel in 1969 with Jack Kirby), in recent years Lee had enjoyed a steady Hollywood career, making a cameo in every MCU film to date. He even had a cameo in the recent Spider-Man game for Playstation 4.
Lee has had a few health issues in recent years. He is survived by his daughter Joan.
His contributions to the comic industry cannot be understated. With Kirby and Steve Ditko, Lee created Spider-Man, the Hulk, Doctor Strange, the Fantastic Four, Daredevil, Black Panther, the X-Men, and countless others.
