New Coffee Shop with CBD oil-infused opens in Houston

Houston Texas.-New Coffee shop opened in Houston with CBD-infused products. “The Smoking Pot” is the first one in Houston serving CBD-Infused beverages, the shop brings drinks and pastries infused with cannabidiol or CBD oil in the Spring Branch area. You can order coffee with CBD or without it. The store also displays art from local artist on the walls like Khris Obey and the one behind the famous “Be Someone” over 1-45. Cannabidiol (CBD) oil has become the hot new product in states that have legalized medical marijuana.

What is CBD oil? According to experts CBD is a component of marijuana same as THC, unlike THC, it is not psychoactive. This means that CBD does not change a person’s state of mind when they use it. Cannabidiol is extracted from the flowers and buds of marijuana or hemp plants. It does not produce intoxication; marijuana’s “high” is caused by the chemical tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).

The non-intoxicating marijuana extract is being credited with helping treat a host of medical problems, some people believe that CBD offers a more natural alternative.  — everything from epileptic  seizures to anxiety to inflammation to sleeplessness. Some researchers have found that CBD may prove to combat cancer. Authors of a review published in the British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology found evidence that CBD significantly helped to prevent the spread of cancer.

The store sells CBD lotions, edible drops, bath bombs, pills, cookies and more, the store opens from 8am to 8pm every day which is located on 8510 Long Point Rd.
